Brewed with 100% Australian grown grains from Voyager (NSW). Schooner, Biscuit, Chocolate, Voodoo & Raw Barley. Hopped at the start of boil w/ Red Earth from Ryefield Hops (NSW) to 19 IBU.
This beer was fermented in stainless without temperature control w/ the same english strain used in the 'Golden' from Mogwai Labs (NSW).
Packaged on June 28th and bottle/keg conditioned for 3 weeks. This is the first limited release from the Real Ale range.
While things may evolve, at this stage we plan to do one special release for autumn/winter and one for spring/summer. Taking a few lessons from our Golden, we've opted for a shorter conditioning period. Burnt toast, cinnamon, milk chocolate & ash (in the best way possible).
Light, malty & fresh.
Best enjoyed with friends & family by a roaring communal fire.
