This is a collaboration with our good pals at Kuuracorp & the second iteration of this unique beer.
This is a blend of three barriques that on their own had single qualities that we were looking for in the blend. Once combined they created a lovely canvas for the tea while balancing funk, acid & freshness.
12 month old saison - fermented in a barrique (33%)
7 month old saison - fermented in a barrique (33%)
13 month old saison - fermented in a barrique (33%)
This blend was aged on 3.3g/L of 2023 'Labyrinth' Raw Pu-erh Tea for 39 days.
Packaged on 26th October 2024 and bottle conditioned for 11 weeks.
Similar to last year there is a powerful peach character that jumps straight out of the glass. Stalky & herbaceous.
The palate is where I think this beer really shines as both components are working in harmony. Candied orange, white nectarines & jasmine flowers.
Mellow acidity, textural, tannic & moreish.
A beer with longeivity.
