We are big fans of English pub ales at Sobremesa and are excited to present our spin on a dark mild.
This was apart of the Carwyn Cellars - Black Box and we were stoked to be invited to participate this year.
Brewed with 100% Australian grown grains.
Floor malted - Australian Ale from House of Malt (VIC). Australian chocolate malt, amber, crystal & flaked barley. Hopped hotside w/ East Kent Golding (UK)
Primary fermentation in barrel w/ a blend of english ale yeast and two strains of brettanomyces for 8 weeks.
Packaged on May 29th 2022 and can conditioned for 10 weeks.
Aromas of coffee, homemade chocolate & dried fruit.
Notes of toffee & dark bread while presenting light & dry.
Refreshing yet flavourful.
A nice accompaniment to round out the Melbourne winter.
**All four pack holders are made from reclaimed and rapidly renewable sugarcane pulp. Certified home compostable and carbon neutral**
